This is a Photo of Matthew Cheetham from Two Steps from Home drumming hard.

The band allowed me to take photos from behind the keyboardist along the ground. This is with my 50mm unstabalised lens. This photo I was just focussing on getting the face in focus. Got it and the hand motions look cool. I just wish I'd gotten more of the drums in cause it looks to see them in the fore ground out of focus.

Had the apatured cranked wide open to get asmuch light in. If you have any tips on how to improve your manual focussing, cause in the end I was just getting it approximate, taking a photo checking to see if it is, getting it close then moving the camera backward and forward after each photo or two.

I really like this photo. I hope my raw processing hasn't changed the image adversely.

Any comments/improvements/criticism would be really cool
