A Picture of my girlfriend's naked lady (a type of lilly that doesn't normally have leaves on it when it flowers). Taken with my new 50mm f1.8 lens. It was a difficult shot as i'd forgotten my tripod and was taking it in the dark lit by two torches and the ceiling lights in the room nearby.
Turned out fairly well, though I am uncertain about if i got the focus spot on. Which is a real problem as i was using the aperture wide open to get as much light in as possible.
Let me know what you think, (especially if you think it's out of focus, if enough people tell me that i'll move it to scraps).
Raw processed and used photoshop curve tool to darken the shadows as they just were showing up the louvers in the background.
I'd love critique on this work (just post in the comments area).
as im a noob myself, can't really critique much on macros, but i feel that stopping down the lens a stop or two would really help in any macro setup. sure you would need to compensate with the lighting levels, or use atripod etc, but well.. thats how it works
