This is a Photo of Matthew Cheetham from Two Steps from Home drumming hard.
The band allowed me to take photos from behind the keyboardist along the ground. This is with my 50mm unstabalised lens. I saw the blur on another photo. Slowed down my shutter, lay down on the ground and tried to get a photo in focus. Had the apatured cranked wide open to get asmuch light in. If you have any tips on how to improve your manual focussing, cause in the end I was just getting it approximate, taking a photo checking to see if it is, getting it close then moving the camera backward and forward after each photo or two. I really like this photo. I hope my raw processing hasn't changed the image adversely. Any comments/improvements/criticism would be really cool |
